This is the application of a moss and mould kill chemical to a surface and left for the weather (sunlight and rain) to remove.
The most common area this is used on is roofs. The time lapse to completely remove the moss can be 4-6 months.
The reason for the treatment can be because of difficult access to waterblast or concerns that high pressure cleaning may damage the surface.
Care needs to be taken when applying the chemical and weather plays a big part. Chemical spraying is done when the wind is low, surfaces are dry and allowing 24 hours without rain.
